Ship in a Bottle - Linocut Print
For the last month I’ve been experimenting with hand cut linocut prints. For some reason all those prints have been boats. It’s no understatement to say that this could be the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. This is the only one I felt comfortable offering to general public.
Hand cut by yours truly and printed on my 1911 Chandler and Price printing press. The bottle was stamped first and then the boat and water inside. This gives it some depth and it actually looks like a ship in a bottle!
slight variations in alignment and colour are to be expected, cherish them
prints could be trimmed down or matted
trimmed size would be 6” x 8”
all sizes are approximate
